OVERVIEW OF INTEGRATED SUPPORTIVE SUPPERVISION
INTRODUCTION
In challenging environments where resources are scarce and priorities are vast and different, it is important to support employees through supervision to make them feel valued, motivated, and more productive.
Through effective Integrated Supportive Supervision (ISS), Health Leaders and Managers can foster, and review staff performance based on defined standards.
The main goal of this course is to equip Health Leaders and Managers on effective supervisory process to help build capacity in the health care system by enabling health care teams continue to develop their individual competence, receive feedback on performance and provide safe, quality patient care.
This course looks at the Definition and Types of supervision; Integrated Supportive Supervision; and the process involved in conducting ISS.
